  • Condition: The matte is a bit tarnished- it is generally dark, but would clean, if so desired, The flanges on the reverse show that they have been bent to remove an image, but are fine. The glass appears original, and is very nice.

    Description

    This is a gold colored metal matte for a 19th century half-plate image. It has glass in it that appears to be original. It is in very good condition. The inside measurements are 4 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches. The matte is both very nice and original.
