    Description

    Vintage J.E.Mergott Brass desk calendar and note paper holder. Inluded 1945/1946 calendar. 6 interchangable cards with the year 1926 measures 4 7/8" x 2 7x8" and 21 3x5 blank cards.
    Brass box measures 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/2". Green felt on bottom shows age, some loss. makers mark on back.
    Blank Cartouche on cover and inside box. Metal slide holds calendar sheet in place with clear plastic.
    J.E.Mergott started his company in 1878 at 19 Green street, Newark, NJ. They had 600 employees when it was acquired by Fedders-Quigan in 1950.
