A unique archive, it originates from the 1900s to 1930s. But it also includes
the 19th century right up to the 1960s.
We will be offering thousands of original, vintage images on eBay in the coming months. They will cover all areas of popular culture: sports, Hollywood (including many of the celebrated Photographers such as George Hurrell and Nickolas Muray), music, historical, and more.

Historical Negative Collection
This is a negative from the Brown Brothers Photo Archive, which came from a file marked "Men Working Tall Buildings". We have other similar glass plate negatives, see our other auctions. We have included a close-up scan, as you can see additional detail in the image.
This image shows another view of the dangerous work the steelworkers faced on a daily basis while constructing the iconic Woolworth Building and other skyscrapers in New York City. Brown Brothers was known for their images of this dangerous work.
